Winter Fashion

The chilly weather makes keeping warm a necessity, but there's no reason why you can't be stylish while doing so. Inspired by my favorite drink during the winter, I pulled some items to create a "sweet blend" of light to dark. Classic red nails and lips offer a pop of color to pull the whole look together. Search your current wardrobe to find some similar pieces before you splurge on anything new. Fall Boots - it's all in the details

The crisp taste of caramel swirled into hot apple cider. The smell of fireplaces burning throughout the neighborhood... ahhhh!

Ok, so fireplaces aren't burning wood just yet in California, but it's mid-October and I couldn't resist buying a new pair of boots!

Let your fashion hearts fall in love with these Lucky Brand mid-calf wonders. 

The two inch heels offer the right amount of height to complement a pair of jeans and t-shirt look or an above the knee skirt or dress. The shaft fits loose, however the vamp portion is tight, so if you have large calf muscles or a wider foot you'll definitely want to try these on before purchasing.

Multiple buckles add the right amount of sass and the darker toe creates a distressed vibe to finish off the look. 

Now let's talk price. Only $59.99 at Marshall's.  Such a great deal for some nice boots that will last several wears.  I know I'm looking forward to strutting my stuff. I even have ideas brewing. Just envision black opaque tights and flare skirt... or maybe distressed skinny jeans, striped tank and a loose-knit cardigan.
